Welcome to Happy Dogs®!
Dog training & behavior consultations in Geneva
My name is Francesca, and I created Happy Dogs® to support dog owners in Geneva—or online—through a dog training approach rooted in respect and in a deep understanding of canine behavior .
Sharing your life with a dog is a joyful, enriching experience. Yet some behaviours can sometimes surprise us or become difficult to manage, simply because we don’t yet know how to interpret them. Contrary to common belief, these behaviours are rarely “just a training issue.”
It can be tempting to want to make an unwanted behaviour “disappear.” But trying to suppress a behaviour without understanding where it comes from often means missing the need, emotion, or discomfort it is expressing. Happy Dogs® is built on a simple conviction: when a dog feels understood, respected, and supported emotionally, they naturally regain calm and balance—and that brings greater peace to the whole family as well.
I’m here to guide you: to help you get to know your dog better, communicate more easily, and build a relationship based on trust, safety, and harmony. To do so, I place my values and professional expertise at your service to find a lasting, effective, and tailored solution. Through Happy Dogs®, I am committed to continuously update my skills & competencies so I can share with my clients the most current knowledge in dog training and behavioural science.

Working together
Many of our customers have already testified to their satisfaction in working with us! The first step to start this adventure together is to send us an email:
We will begin with an initial assessment so that I can understand your situation and respond precisely to your needs. Through regular practical lessons, we will move forward together—at your dog’s pace—to help you regain balance and peace of mind in everyday life.
My teaching approach has two goals:
to support the dog, and to support the human who shares their life. Every human–dog partnership is unique, so I will offer you a tailored programme, adapted to your reality and to your companion’s.
A holistic approach
My approach is not based on authority or control, but on understanding and cooperation. I place essential importance on respecting each individual dog, on freedom of choice, and on emotional safety. Dogs make better progress when they are able to make choices, when they feel understood, and when their limits are respected.
My support is holistic and empathic: it takes into account all the elements that influence a dog’s well-being and behaviour. Behaviour is the result of many interacting factors, such as the dog’s fundamental needs as a species and as an individual, physical health, physical and emotional comfort, sleep quality, nutrition, the environment, and the relationship with the humans who share their life. That is why I focus on understanding the root causes rather than only correcting what is visible.
My ethics are clear: no force, no threats, and no physical or psychological coercion. The well-being of the dog and the human are inseparable—supporting one necessarily means supporting the other—so that both can find more calm, understanding, and harmony in everyday life.
